“Having someone primp and prepare my make-up and hair allowed for time to settle into the idea of being the focus of the camera. It allowed for my spirit and heart to relax leaving my ego (feelings of not being good enough) to sit on the shelf for awhile. While Valentina shared about her ideas of the session and prepared the room, I began to get excited to change into each outfit and see where the hours moved us. During the photo shoot, I began to fit into my skin knowing that each imperfection was a perfection of my life as my body had carried me thus far. I easily let my body flow as my spirit and heart connected with the camera to create a fun energetic feeling. At the close, I did not want it to end. The freedom of expression and confidence was heightened. I collected my ego from its parking space on a shelf, as I exited the building. I drove in silence allowing myself to connect my body, mind, spirit and heart to extend the confidence and freedom of expression into my overall life. As I look into the mirror today, I am reminded of those few hours, I embrace who I am and who I will become tomorrow. I am excited to share this journey with other women.”
